Uzalo actor Cebolenkosi Mthembu who is popularly known as Nyawo on the show has been going through a lot this year.
The actor lost his voice after battling with the deadly Covid-19. The actor had to battle the virus twice in a year. As if that was not enough, Cebolenkosi lost his father.
The actor could not bury his father as he was in isolation. Cebolenkosi was involved in a horrific car accident last week on Saturday 18 December while he was on his way to Durban ICC.
The accident happened on the N3 near Pavilion Mall and the actor was rushed to St Augustine Hospital.
