There has been outrage by Heart FM’s loyal listeners following the dismissal of popular radio personality Clarence Ford.

Clarence Ford is leaving the station after 24 years citing issues of bullying and a toxic working environment at the station. Other staff members have complained about s_exual misconduct being left unattended.

Ford told news media that he was called on Monday as he was going to work and was told that his services were no longer needed. He was initially scheduled to leave in February.

The Dj was fired from his job after he spoke against abuse at work. A reporter from eNCA reported that gender rights activists including June Dolley were also at the protests with placards.

Dolley revealed that she knows a lady who was abused at the same station but had to stay quiet because of a non disclosure agreement that she was forced to sign.

She said several people at the station had experienced s_exual harassment at Heart FM but they were being gagged by those in authority.
