Muvhango cast and crew members have all been ordered to get vaccinated by the creator of the soapie Duma Ka Ndlovu.
Failure to get vaccinated the cast and crew members may lose their contracts. It seems new contracts have been drafted after the crew and cast were left in limbo for almost two months with no news about their contracts renewal.
The order to get the vaccination was announced on the recent meeting to discuss austerity measures to curb company costs in the new financial season. The aim is to minimise the spread of Covid-19.
The cast and crew who were negotiating their new contracts with Muvhango producers and SABC will resume their shooting next month.
A source revealed that the actors were revolting against Ndlovu saying the order violated their constitutional rights.
