Ever since former President Jacob Zuma’s release from prison South Africans have been eagerly waiting for Julius Malema’s comments.

Jacob Zuma was released on medical parole, this was after he fell sick at the Estcourt Correctional facility in KwaZuluNatal where he was serving his 15 months jail term.

A lot of people were waiting for Malema’s controversial comments. However he left many surprised because unlike the other opposition leaders he welcomed the Correctional Services decision to grant Zuma parole.

Malema slammed those who were against Zuma’s release on medical parole. He said questioning other people’s health conditions was undignified.

The EFF leader who visited Nkandla before Zuma’s arrest has always entertained the idea of Zuma being put under house arrest rather than prison.

Zuma was arrested after the Constitutional Court found him guilty of contempt of court. This was after he refused to appear before the State Capture of Inquiry Commission.
