Remembering Killer Kau and Mpura- Massive Music

Amapiano artists Mpura and Killer Kau died following an accident that occurred whilst they were going to Rustenburg for a concert on the 7th of August 2021.

Sakhile Hlatshwayo aka Killer Kau and Mpura were remembered on Massive Music. The two were once invited to Massive Music where they shared their experiences in the music industry.

They spoke about the difficulties and the competition in the music industry.  As artists who were doing so well they also spoke about the pressure that comes with trying to set a bar or standard that others have reached.

Kau’s single ‘Thol ukuthi Hey’ was a success and it became a hit in South Africa. Mpura also was successful with his collaboration ‘Umsebenzi Wethu’.
