The detainment of former president Jacob Zuma has affected his first wife Sizakele Khumalo Zuma.
Jacob Zuma is currently serving his 15months imprisonment at the Estcourt Correctional facility in KwaZuluNatal.
He handed himself over to the police after the Constitutional Court found him guilty of contempt of court. The former leader surrendered himself to the police on the 7th of July 2021.
Sizakele Khumalo told the law enforcers to bring back Zuma in one peace. “Bring him back alive and in one peace”, said MaKhumalo.
The ANC Women’s League provincial secretary Nonhlanhla Gabela witnessed the former first lady demanding the police to bring back her husband alive.
The former president is expected to appear before the Pietermaritzburg High Court on the 16th of August 2021.
