Former President Jacob Zuma’s half-brother, Joseph Zuma, vividly recalled the moments on 7 July 2021 when the former head of state decided to surrender and start serving his 15 months jail term at Estcourt prison.
Joseph said Jacob Zuma was avoiding bloodshed and he lauded him for that.
Former President Jacob Zuma was sentenced to 15 months imprisonment by the highest court in South Africa after it found him guilty of contempt of court.
Zuma is also facing charges of corruption related to the arms deal that took place in the 90s involving a French arms manufacturer Thales.
