Zwelinzima Vavi Says There Is No Wage Increase For Public Workers.

Zwelinzima Vavi sent a strong message to President Cyril Ramaphosa and the Cabinet.

He said there is no wage increase offered by the government.

The so called 1,5% is not there but it is an attempt by the government to pull wool on the eyes of public sector workers.

Vavi also revealed that the government is merely implementing the resolution one of 2018 on pay progression.

By this, workers who perform well they can move between their notches, within their own grade and get a 1,5% every year.

Adding, he said this is an attempt to fool people and mobolise for the strike.
