The Free Jacob Zuma Campaign which started in KwaZuluNatal Province has now reached Johannesburg in Gauteng Province.

The Campaign started following former President Jacob Zuma’s arrest last week. Jacob Zuma handed himself over to the police after the Constitutional Court found him guilty of contempt of court.

The court ruled that Zuma must spend 15 months in prison. The campaigners are calling for the release of former President Jacob Zuma and they are adamant that he did nothing wrong.

In KwaZuluNatal the protesters burnt haulage trucks ferrying luxury vehicles from Durban port, some trucks were carrying goods. Shops were also looted in the past two days, N3 highway was also blocked.

Now protesters are in Johannesburg, they marched across the city demanding for the release of former President Jacob Zuma.

Zuma’s son Duduzane Zuma and suspended ANC Secretary General Ace Magashule have all pledged their support for Msholozi.
