The issue of polygamy and polyandry has been a hot topic ever since it was leaked that the government was considering legalising the latter.
One tweep asked model and television personality Ayanda Thabethe what she thought about the issue. Below is what she said in reply.
“If all parties agree and the intentions were set from the beginning- I don’t see anything wrong… I just think it’s a tough situation and needs extra dose of maturity, patience and understanding.”
Actress Thuli Thabethe also weighed in on the issue with Tshisalive. She said with age she has come to understand things her younger self would have never understood.
She shared that polyandry and polygamy was not for her. Even though she revealed that she is not open to it she understands why women end up in polygamous marriages.
