Actress Thuso Mbedu has made South Africa proud.

The star features on The Underground Railroad, the first television series from acclaimed filmmaker Barry Jenkins.

It is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video today on May 14.

The series is an adaptation of Colson Whitehead’s 2017 Pulitzer Prize-winning novel.
