Kwazi Captain from Imbokodo FM has sadly passed away. He was stabbed and killed in a car hijacking on Monday 5 April 2021.
His death was announced by his former employer, the community radio station, Imbokodo FM on their Facebook page.
He leaves behind a five months year old kid and his fiancee Thabile Zulu. Thabile and her friend confirmed the sad news to the Daily Sun.
They revealed that the suspects stabbed Kwazi in the chest and on the neck when they could not find his car keys.
Kwazi’s friend Sthembiso Mbhele described the late radio presenter as humble. He left Imbokodo FM last year to start a transportation business.
His memorial service was held at eThekwini Community Church on Thursday and his funeral will be held on Saturday the 10th of April 2021.
KwaZuluNatal spokeswoman Nqobile Gwala said a case of murder was being investigated by SAPS. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
