The Daily Sun reports that Rudolph Mamabolo, the board chairman at the state owned Downtown studio, and the new CEO, Mpume Mabuza are engaged in a nasty fight.

Mamabolo says he has reported Mabuza to the Hawks, Corruption Watch and the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture for the following reasons:

– When Mpume was employed she did not disclose that she was friends with Cynthia Khumalo, the DG at the department.

– Mpume is hiring her friends for positions at the studio without following processes and is paying them inflated salaries.

In her response, Mpume told the newspaper that Mamabolo should provide evidence of his claims.
