The Sowetan reports that ASA Boss Alex Skhosana has denied that he is a bad guy.
Speaking to the Newspaper, Skosana said he has no reason to block anyone from contesting the Athletics SA.
This comes after several aspirant administrators told the publication that they would not contest the elections because they feared for their lives.
Skhosana called on those who are afraid of him to come forward because he is disturbed by the news that others will not contest because of him.
He added that he doesn’t want to be used as a scapegoat by anyone thus he called on those willing to contest not to give up.
Sello Mokoena, a former KwaZuluNatal athletics boss who is a known critic of Skhosana said he quit the KZN elections last year after he received death threats.
Mokoena confirmed that he will not run for the presidential position. Meanwhile Skhosana said all those accusing him are cowards who do not want to confront issues head on.
