City Press reports that Popular Socialite, Penny Lebyane has joined the court case involving DJ Fresh and Ntsiki Mazwai.

The case will be heard on Wednesday at the Johannesburg High Court.

Penny, through her lawyers, has asked to be joined in the case to get clarity on how her name became a prominent part of the case.

Penny told the newspaper that in his original affidavit, DJ Fresh cited that she was the originator of the post that Ntsiki re-tweeted.

Penny said she is questioning how DJ Fresh mentioned her in court documents without giving her a chance to answer for herself.

Penny says being mentioned in the court papers has tarnished her name and cost her potential work.

In his court papers, DJ Fresh said:

I dated her briefly in 2001, that is 19 years ago. I broke up with her because our relationship was toxic and a restraining order was obtained against her after an attempt to force friends of mine off the road.

Penny Denies the statement about her and wants DJ Fresh to produce the restraining order.
