Cassper Nyovest Says SAMAs Don’t Matter Anymore

Rapper Cassper Nyovest came out with an interesting tweet saying that people don’t even remember those who won the SAMAs last year.

He said the awards used to be the biggest and most important awards to artists but not anymore.

He said the industry is full of corruption and the right people don’t get nominated all the time and even if they do get nominated, those who win are usually people who don’t deserve to win.

The SAMAs have also been slammed for tribalism. Artists from Limpopo especially have voiced their concerns about how they are being sidelined.
