Springboks’ Aphiwe Dyantyi Banned For 4 Years

Springboks and Lions Wing Aphiwe Dyantyi has been banned for four years for doping.

The decision was made independent doping panel.

Dyantyi pleaded guilty to the 3 member panel, but was expecting a light penalty.

Dantyi told the panel that he did not intentionally take banned substance, metandienone, methyl testosterone and LG-4033.

Dantyi was the 2018 World Rugby Break-through player of the year and was tested randomly when in the Springboks camp before the world cup.
