Zama Khumalo was crowned winner of the 16th season of the Idols SA competition on Sunday evening. Since then congratulatory messages have been pouring in for Zama.
As season 16 of Idols SA came to it’s end the top two remaining contestants got over 20 million votes this week.
The Idols SA winner becomes an instant millionaire. Zama won R1,5 million in cash and prizes worth R1 million.
She also walked away with R200 thousand cash from Samsung, R400 thousand cash from Mzansi Magic and R300 thousand from Old Mutual.
Zama also won latest Samsung products worth R150 thousand, a new Toyota Starlet 1.4, valued at R500 thousand.
In addition to that she got a fashion voucher from Truworths that is worth R100 thousand. YAMAHA musical instruments worth R80 000 and a recording deal from Kalawa Jazmee Records.
Zama also walks away with a Kymco Xciting 400 Scooter worth R120, 000.
Mr Music who is the runner-up will not go empty handed. He walks away with R50, 000 in cash from Samsung and latest Samsung products.
In addition to that , Mr Music also walks away with R50, 000 in cash in an Old Mutual account aswell as R50, 000 worth of fashion from Truworths.
Due to Covid-19 auditions for Idols SA Season 17 will be held online.
