Five Slay Queens who were arrested for the murder of Zulu Prince, Lethukuthula Zulu, have denied the charge and say he died of a drug overdose.
The Sowetan reported that Tshegofatso Vivian Moremane (20), Margaret Koaile (42), Portia Mmola (28), Gontse Tlholoe (30) and Dakalo Mbedzi (32) were arrested on 20 November.
Moremane told the Randburg Magistrate’s court that she and the other Slay Queens met Zulu and his housemate at the News Cafe in Malibongwe Drive.
She said Prince Zulu sent a waiter with beers to their table and invited them to his table. Thee five Slay Queen and Zulu later left together to Zulu’s townhouse.
Moremane said she and Gontse went with Prince Zulu into his bedroom where they had se_x.
Moremane said Prince Zulu kept going to the toilet and she realised he was Asthmatic.
At one point he had some white stuff on his nose, which I told him about and he told me to relax. I suspect he was sniffing some drugs…
