South African musician and record producer Master KG has managed to win an MTV Europe Music Video award.
Master KG has thanked all his fans and all those who supported his hit song Jerusalema which won him the best African act at the MTV music awards this past Sunday.
He managed to beat out his local peers, DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small. He also beat Nigerian rapper Burna Boy and other artists from Uganda and DRC.
Master KG also thanked Nomcebo Zikode who was featured in the song Jerusalema.

Jerusalema has been streamed over 200 million times. The song’s remix with Burna Boy has also been streamed over 35 million times already.
The Sports, Arts and Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa sent a massive congratulatory message to Master KG.
