Senzo Meyiwa’s alleged killers have finally been arrested. Five men believed to be hitmen repsonsible for the murder are now behind bars.
The former Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper, Meyiwa was shot dead at the house of his then girlfriend singer Kelly Khumalo.
The arrest warranty of the five men whose names are not mentioned in the madia were obtained on Wednesday last week and were signed by Advocate Sbongile Mzinyathi who is the Director of Prosecution in Gauteng.
The suspects are already in jail for other charges aswell thus murder and robbery amongst others. These suspects were promised R250 000 in exchange of them killing Senzo Meyiwa.
According to their confession, this means that Kelly Khumalo and the previous other suspects are currently off the hook.
The authorities seem to know who hired these hitmen but his name will not be revealed until the investigation is over.
With the continuous revelations, the story of Senzo Meyiwa’s death is getting confusing by the day.
