On this week’s Behind the Story with Pearl Thusi, Khanyi Mbau revealed why she didn’t cry at her father’s funeral. The interview was intriguing thus it was broken into two parts.
Part one saw Khanyi talking about her non existent relationship with her father, her ex boyfriend Mandla and her daughter.
She also spoke about how her second lover sabotaged her career. Her father Menzi Mchunu passed on a few weeks ago.
Khanyi Mbau revealed that when her father was in hospital she would call him but he would not answer her calls instead he answered everyone else’s calls.
The media personality revealed that she had no close relations with Menzi Mchunu but she still sees him as a hero.
Khanyi revealed to Pearl Thusi that she had little access to her father because of the abuse she has suffered as a result of their rocky relationship.
It is only at that moment where people understood why Khanyi has not shed a tear for her father at the funeral.
