Recommendations from the National Corona Virus Command Council, the President and Cabinet have decided that South Africa will remain on lockdown level three and will not go back to level four or five.

Entrepreneur and businessman Vusi Thembekwayo told Newzroom Afrika that many businesses were going to suffer as government banned the selling of alcohol in the country.

He said there were inconsistencies that government must deal with such as not allowing going to parks and traveling in taxis.

Vusi said the ban on selling of alcohol means that the hotelier and restaurants are affected and when these are not functioning then the tourism sector is also affected.

Vusi also said government must reclaim it’s social equity and convince people that the government is doing the right thing for the people.

He also added that government must be transparent about the data used to come up with figures of Covid-19 cases and measures that are imposed on lockdown.
