Lydia Mokgokoloshi (Koko Mantsha): Biography, Age, Children, Husband, Grandchildren

Koko Mantsha’s real name is Lydia Mokgokoloshi, she is popular for her role as Katlego’s grandmother on Skeem Saam. She was born on 27 September 1939 thus she is 80 years old.

Besides Skeem Saam she has featured in many television dramas like Muvhango and Bophelo ke Semphekgo.

After completing her school she went for a teaching training at Mokopane. Koko Mantsha taught for ten years back home in Limpopo and in 1974 she moved to Soweto where she taught until she retired in 1997.

She is from a family of five. Her favourite movie is Romeo and Juliet and her favourite drama series is Isidingo. During her leisure time she reads books.

Koko Mantsha lives with her grandchildren from her only son who passed on in 2003. She was married to a kind and gentle man.
