Meet SA ‘Amapiano Queen’ Shasha | Background, Career

Charmaine Shamiso Mpambiro with the stage name ‘Shasha’ is a Zimbabwean singer and song writer known for her single “Tender Love”.

She was born in 1993 and originally comes from Mutate. Her parents separated from her birth and she grew up with grandmother.

Shasha spent much of her life in Zimbabwe’s second largest city Bulawayo and South Africa.

She started singing in the choir while taking some piano lessons and she moved to South Africa where she had to work with some producers and rappers.

She began her career professionally in 2017 and she came to limelight with her hit “Tender Love” which enlist the talent of Kabza de Small and DJ Maphorisa.

She also worked with the likes of Mlindo, Priddy Ugly and Rouge.
