Dineo Moeketsi Langa Speaks On Why She Got Fired From The Queen

During the lockdown news broke out that Dineo Langa was being released from the Fergusons Films soapie the Queen.

Lauren Nell who is the runner of the show told sources that Dineo Langa had not been fired. Nell said the actress was on payroll and was only released so that she can go and shoot her movie.

Dineo was scheduled to return in April. Through an Instagram interview with Themba Ndaba, Shona and Connie Ferguson denied ever firing people from the soapie.

Connie said, the Queen was a soapie and just like any other soapie characters come and go as new story lines are developed for new actors. She said this happens with any other soapie besides the Queen.

However Dineo set the record straight on what actually happened. One of her followers asked her on her comments section wanting to know when Dineo was coming back to the Queen.

Dineo replied, “ang’buyi mina ngaxoshwa”, which basically means, “I am not coming back, I was fired”.

She added that her character was removed from the show and will be dying soon.
