Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates are some of the biggest and most successful football clubs in the PSL in South Africa. Ironically the two clubs are bitter rivals from Soweto. Below are players who played for both clubs.

Jimmy Tau is a retired South African football soccer defender. He played for Orlando Pirates from 2002 to 2005 before joining Kaizer Chiefs where he played for the club from 2005 to 2013.

Thabang Lebese was a South African midfielder who played for Kaizer Chiefs from 1993 to 2000. He then joined Orlando Pirates from 2001 to 2003. He died at the age of 38 in 2012.

Gert Schalkwyk is a South African midfielder who played for Kaizer Chiefs from 2004 to 2009. He then joined Orlando Pirates from 2009 to 2011.

Bongani Ndulula is a South African soccer striker. He played for Orlando Pirates from 2010 to 2013 and for Kaizer Chiefs from 2015 to 2016.

William Twala is a South African football midfielder who played for Orlando Pirates from 2011 to 2014 and for Kaizer Chiefs from 2016 to 2018.

Lehlohonolo Majoro is a South African soccer forward. He played for Kaizer Chiefs from 2011 to 2013 and for Orlando Pirates from 2013 to 2016.

Some of the football players who played for these two Soweto Giants are Sphelele Mthembu, Collins Mbesuma, Jabu Mahlangu and Stanton Fredericks.
