It’s been just over years since musician Molemo ‘Jub Jub’ Maarohanye was released from prison. He recently opened up about his journey of forgiving himself and making a difference through his Jub Cares Foundation.

Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye was initially sentenced to 25 years for murder and attempted murder, after he and Themba Tshabalala crashed into and killed four high school pupils and seriously injured three others on March 8 2010.

This happened while they were drunk, high and drag racing in a residential area.

In an interview with an online publication, the musician spoke about letting go of the past and what it took for him to forgive himself.
