It’s been almost two months since the government revealed about the R150 million Covid-19 relief grant to assist artists since they can not hold concerts or gigs during lockdown.
Kelly Khumalo is one of those artists who hasnt received or benefited from the relief fund. The singer took to her Instagram asking the government where her share of the grant was.
She said in a French ascent, “I just realised that I had a very important question to ask the government and the department of Sports, Arts and Culture”.
“I looked in my bank account and I don’t see anything”, said Kelly Khumalo.
She added that her bank account savings were about to finish thus she thought of reminding the government to send her share as they promised.
