Actress Pearl Thusi Mourns Her Father On Her 32nd Birthday

Television personality Pearl Thusi had a bitter sweet 32nd birthday yesterday as this was the first time she celebrated her birthday without her father.

Pearl is mourning the death of her father Bhekizizwe Thusi. Last month the actress left her followers concerned when she deactivated all her social media platforms without warning.

At the time her best friend DJ Zinhle sent her a supportive message, she said: “This is for you. Everything will be okay…I love you @pearlthusi”

Pearl Thusi appeared on social media to promote the trailer of the second season of Queen Sono.

On her birthday yesterday she took to Instagram to commemorate her birthday and also revealed that this was the first time celebrating her birthday without her father.

She broke her silence by saying, “1st one without you daddy”. Her mother passed on when she was a teenager in 2004.
