Doja Cat is regarded as one of the best upcoming rappers who are making it in the music industry. The singer and rapper was recently dragged on Twitter by Nicki Minaj’s fans aka the ‘Barbz’.

Doja suffered backlash from Nicki Minaj’s fans who felt like she insulted them. They even went as far as starting the #DojaCatIsOverParty on Twitter.

It all started when a cover appeared on Twitter featuring Doja Cat, Nicki Minaj and Megan Three Stallion from left to right with a tagline “The Female Rappers”.

Someone replied that they wished Doja was in the middle rather than Nicki Minaj. All hell broke lose and the Barbz came out guns blazing. The Barbz have a history of online trolling and harassment.

Despite all the chaos and drama coming from the fans, Doja revealed that Nicki Minaj was her Industry idol and that she has a huge influence on her music.

Meanwhile, on a backstage video, Doja Cat told Whoopi Goldberg about her father Dumisani Dlamini. Dumisani Dlamini is a South African actor who alongside Whoopi appeared in the South African movie Sarafina. Dlamini played the role of Crocodile in the movie.

Doja revealed that she was not holding any grudges against Dlamini whom she never met. She is willing to meet up with him. Dlamini once stayed in America where he met Doja’s mother. He left her with two children and never returned to them.

In an interview, Dumisani said he used to communicate with Doja on social media. He added that he was also willing to meet her daughter whom he claimed was South African.

In another interview he claimed that Doja Cat’s team was blocking him from seeing her or meeting her. It seems their relationship is complicated even though it looks like they love each other.
