Meet Dee Koala A Young Successful Female Hip-hop Artist | Afternoon Express

Dee Koala is a young female rapper who hails from Khayelitsha in the City of CapeTown. Her brand has gained momentum over the past few years.

At just 21 years old, she has collaborated with popular artists such as Boity, Busiswa, Riky Rick, Yanga Chief, Moon Child among other big names in the industry.

The young musician has managed to perform on big stages in CapeTown to Johannesburg. She has been able to balance between the two cities even though they both have a different taste when it comes to rap.

She said the sounds between the two cities was different. IsiXhosa from Johannesburg and Cape Town or any other part of the country was different.

However she has been able to be transitional so as to accommodate the people from different parts of the country so that they can relate to her music.

Koala said she wants to see herself singing in other countries but she was open to many other business ventures such as clothing, presenting and traveling.
