Chris Maroleng, who was recently fired from SABC has been appointed to lead the Johannesburg office of the NGO Good Governance Africa.

This was revealed in internal communications to staff this week.

Good Governance Africa is an international NGO with offices in Zimbabwe, South Africa, Ghana and Nigeria.

Maroleng was a Chief Operations Officer at SABC before being fired after only a few months and is now suing the SABC for R16 Million.

Before his appointment at SABC, Maroleng was the Group Executive for Corporate Affairs at MTN.

Maroleng was already on the board of Good Governance Africa as a non executive director but will now have day to day responsibilities at the organization.

Maroleng announced last year that he had started his own news venture, 360 Degrees consulting when he updated his Facebook Account.
