Popular Nigerian musician, Davido’s wife Chioma has tested positive for deadly coronavirus (Covid-19).
It is reported that, Chioma had just returned from the United Kingdom a country that is battling the virus with more than 19 000 confirmed cases.
Davido told his followers that he had just returned from America where he was on tour. His fiance came back from London with their baby.
They decided to get tested along with others who had been overseas. Everyone tested negative including their baby except his fiance whose results came out positive.
Chioma is now being quarantined. Davido has decided to go into self isolation for at least 14 days.
Meanwhile, the award winning singer has pleaded with everyone to stay at home as efforts are being implemented to control the virus from spreading.
