Senzo Meyiwa’s life has been penned down by author Soweto Mandlazi. The book has been released for purchase and it details the life of the slain goalkeeper.
It is not clear whether Senzo’s killer will be revealed in the book but a lot of information and other controversial moments were written in this book.
The book is called Decoding 666_9:The Inexplicable Life Of Senzo Meyiwa. Speaking to Daily Sun the self published author said the book has two climaxes. The first was when he met and dated Kelly Khumalo.
The late Sam Meyiwa, Senzo’s father new that a book was being written about his son and was quite excited about it and there are segments of the book that he also wrote.
The book is said to include the chronicles between Senzo and Kelly leading up to his death. The author however was unsuccessful in getting hold of Kelly with the aim of getting her to share her side of the story.
” I have interviewed Senzo’s friends and people who might know what happened on that day. Unfortunately I couldn’t interview Kelly Khumalo or her Sister Zandile Khumalo.
The book has various echoes including Senzo’s wife Mandisa Meyiwa, his family, friends and chairperson of Orlando Pirates Irvin Khoza. The Meyiwa family couldn’t be more honoured regarding the release of the book.
The proceeds from the book sales will used to buy a tombstone for Senzo and maintain his children as he was the bread winner.
