
Nthabiseng Nzama, 23, was granted bail on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, and will return to court on October 26, 2025, to join her co-accused as the case is set down for further proceedings. The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has not disclosed that she is being charged regarding an amount of R120 000 that was paid from her bank account.
She is the daughter of one of the murder accused.

Controversial businessman Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala and his wife, Tsakani Matlala, face charges of conspiracy and money laundering in connection with the Thobejane case. “Cat” Matlala is in custody, while Tsakani Matlala has been released on bail.
