Oscar Pistorius’ parole hearing will be held today, the 24th of November 2023 in Pretoria.
A few months ago, the South African sprinter and convicted murderer Oscar Pistorius petitioned the Constitutional Court to reverse the decision to deny him parole.
Oscar Pistorius believes that he now qualifies for an early release on parole considering the amount of time he has spent behind bars.
Pistorius was denied parole after appearing before the parole board for the his appeal in March this year.

The athlete was sentenced to 13 years in prison for the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. Pistorius shot Reeva on Valentine’s day in 2013.
He has so far served half of his sentence thus he appealed for parole.
