RIP: Tributes Pour in for Pick n Pay Founder Raymond Ackerman

Pick n Pay founder Raymond Ackerman has passed away at the age of 92. Condolence messages are pouring in from all over following Ackerman’s death.

Political leaders, President Cyril Ramaphosa, Mmusi Maimane, and John Steenhuisen have also paid their Tributes.

The entrepreneur founded the retail giant Pick n Pay in 1967 with his wife Wendy after buying four stores in Cape Town.

There are over 2000 Pick n Pay stores across South Africa, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Botswana, Swaziland, Lesotho and Zambia.
