Dr Nandipha Magudumana’s Bail Application Postponed to Next Week

Dr Nandipha Magudumana appeared in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s court today seeking bail.

Magudumana’s bail application will be handed down on the 11th of September 2023. Her lawyer Machini Motloung said his client has no reason to evade trial if she is granted bail.

Dr Nandipha Magudumana was arrested in Tanzania alongside her boyfriend Thabo Bester in April 2023. Bester is a convicted r_apist and murderer.

She helped Thabo Bester to escape from Mangaung Maximum prison in May last year. Magudumana’s other charges include murder, fraud and violation of dead bodies.
