Thembi Kgatlana’s Goal Booked Banyana Banyana a Spot at the Women’s World Cup

Thembi Kgatlana scored the winning goal for Banyana Banyana when they clashed with Italy today in Wellington, New Zealand.

Her goal enabled Banyana Banyana to land a spot in the last 16 at the Women’s World Cup which is being held in Australia and New Zealand.

Kgatlana also joined the elite group of seven African goalscorers at the FIFA Women’s World Cup. The other three ladies are from Nigeria whilst the other three are from Cameroon.
