South African DJ and actress Thuli Phongolo is NOT here for the streets narrative – and she’s making it crystal clear!
The drama ignited when user ChrisExcel posted a shady list on X (formerly Twitter) claiming: “Frame 1 – is Prince Kaybee hit list / Frame 2 – is Lord Edwin Sodi hit list… Jonas only smashed 4 women in 22 episodes……” – immediately linking Thuli’s name to the two men.
Then Prince Kaybee poured gasoline on the fire by replying to ChrisExcel with a laughing emoji and the now-infamous jab: “Lol you motherfucker. 😂”
And that’s when Thuli LOST IT.
The star fired back at Kaybee directly: “Uh, since when? If you’re going to entertain it, you might as well clear it with the TRUTH. I’ve never slept with you or Edwin for that matter! This whole narrative of trying to paint me as loose is tired, I don’t play with my pussy please! 😂”
But she wasn’t done – not even close!
Thuli went on a FULL-BLOWN rant, making it painfully clear she’s fed up with the rumors: “Before my parents and my people call me, I’m tired sana! Mna, I’ve never been with anyone I’ve never DATED. Mind you, I can count the people I’ve dated on ONE HAND so to be affiliated with the WORLD when in reality I take PRIDE in taking care of myself and my integrity is aggravating.”
She slammed the gossip mill, saying: “I keep quiet because I know it’s never really worth it to address it but the narrative STICKS and people start receiving you as a person you’re not. And men feed into these stories because it SERVES them!” – ending that post with a dramatic “Ndidikwe Finish!”
And she made sure to read Prince Kaybee for FILTH.
“Today I woke up VERY Xhosa and petty ke sana! It’s one thing Chris going off on this narrative but entertaining it as though it’s true knowing it’s NOT and feeding into this disgusting circus is where I draw the line!”
She doubled down on her reputation: “SANA, mna… I DON’T PLAY WITH NUNA… if you know me personally, YOU KNOW! I can stand on mountains and beat my chest on that! CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELIEF 😂”
Thuli even shut down any speculation of a secret romance with the DJ, revealing their interactions are basically NON-EXISTENT: “@princekaybee_sa – I’ve literally only met you once at gym this year even on a HI & BYE basis! You know what you did with that response, it’s intentional… stop it!”
So far, Prince Kaybee hasn’t responded to Thuli’s clapback – but one thing’s for sure: she made it crystal clear that her name and her “nuna” are OFF LIMITS! 😳
