A third witness took the stand in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial at the Pretoria High Court today.
This was after the second witness, a neighbour of the Khumalos Khaya Ngcatshe had wrapped his testimony earlier today.
Nthabiseng Makete who is also a neighbour of the Khumalos gave her testimony about what transpired on the night Senzo Meyiwa was shot dead.
The first witness to testify was Kelly Khumalo’s sister Zandile Khumalo who concluded her cross-examination yesterday.
Zandile Khumalo was amongst those in the house when Senzo Meyiwa was murdered.
The late Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper was shot dead in October 2014 at his then girlfriend Kelly Khumalo’s mother’s house in Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni.
Five men are in the dock for the alleged murder of the soccer star.
The neighbours were called in to testify due to the unavailability of the witnesses who were in the house at the time of the murder.
