Sinegugu Myeni’s Remains to Be Repatriated Back to South Africa from Philippines

The government of KwaZuluNatal will help with the repatriation of Sinegugu Myeni’s remains from Philippines.

Myeni who comes from Utrecht in KwaZuluNatal was a medical student studying in Philippines.

She passed away on the 10th of July at the airport while boarding a plane back to South Africa.

Sinegugu wanted to be a neurosurgeon and she was in her final year.

Her mother pleaded for help on video which caught the attention of the KwaZuluNatal Premier.

In the video she revealed that a large sum of money was needed in order to repatriate the body.
