The Senzo Meyiwa murder trial resumed today at the Pretoria High Court nine years after the death of the Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper.

The trial was postponed to tomorrow where it will start afresh with a new judge.

Judge Ratha Mokgoatleheng will be replacing Judge Tshifhiwa Maumela who was suspended by President Cyril Ramaphosa for not concluding cases in time.

Senzo Meyiwa was shot dead in October 2014, at his then girlfriend Kelly Khumalo’s mother’s house in Vosloorus.
