Nkosana Makate proposed the “Please Call Me” concept to telecommunications giant Vodacom.

Makate’s idea consisted of sending a Please Call Me message to other Vodacom users so that they call you back if you do not have credit to call them.

The South African then laid charges against Vodacom, but he was never paid for the concept after winning the court case.

Vodacom offered to pay Makate R47 million, but he demanded R9 billion. More details were shared by entertainment commentator and television host Kgopolo Phil Mphela on Twitter.
