Magnitude 5.0 Earthquake Hits South Africa.

Residents of South Africa’s most populated province of Gauteng were shook when a 4.7 magnitude earthquake hit in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The tremors were heard across Johannesburg, Pretoria and as far as Vereeniging.

This has been recorded as one of biggest earthquakes to hit South Africa.

The country has experienced earthquakes with magnitudes above the one that hit today.

No injuries or fatalities have been recorded so far.
