Giyani: The Land of Blood actress Hlamlani Mavasa is fighting for her life in hospital after she suffered a stroke last week.
The actress is admitted at Clinix Hospital in Soweto. Mavasa is known for playing the role of Matimba on Giyani: The Land of Blood.
The stroke left the actress without the ability to read, speak or write. The family told the media that the stroke was caused by depression. They said Mavasa was stressed by her ex-partner.
Mavasa also lost her loved ones in a space of two years, they include her two babies and her mother. She was also involved in a car accident last year.

The family asked for prayers as the actress is going to have a heart surgery.
