Bafana Bafana Star Emile Baron Now Broke and Struggling

Football supporters in Norway have raised funds to help former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Emile Baron.

Baron who also played in the Norwegian League was now struggling and living in poverty and relying on handouts.

Atleast 5000 supporters donated funds towards his upkeep. The player reportedly tried to take his own life.

Baron has mostly been unemployed after his career ended when he broke his leg in 2013 while playing for Wits University against Orlando Pirates.
