Dr Nandipha Magudumana appeared in the dock today in Mangaung.
She appeared in the Magistrate’s court with Thapelo Dipulo, who worked on the installation and maintenance of CCTV footage at Mangaung Maximum prison.
Thapelo was directly involved in tempering with the CCTV footage at the Correctional facility. He switched off the CCTV to allow Thabo Bester to escape.
He is facing charges of aiding and abating a convicted criminal charged with r_ape and murder.

Magudumana is facing charges of defeating the ends of justice. She is facing fraud and murder charges aswell as charges of aiding and abating a convicted prisoner.
The next hearing will take place on the 17th of April 2023.
