Dr Nandipha Magudumana’s father has reportedly been arrested. This is part of the investigations into the missing bodies stolen by Dr Nandipha from Free State mortuaries.
Dr Nandipha helped her boyfriend Thabo Bester to escape from Mangaung Maximum prison in Bloemfontein last year.
She allegedly stole three corpses claiming that one of those was her father. The same corpse was found a week later dumped in a river with its identification card still tied on its toe.
One of the corpses was burnt in Thabo Bester’s prison cell as it was part of his escape plan.
The police services believe that Dr Nandipha Magudumana was helped in order to orchestrate her plans to have Thabo Bester escape from prison.
Thabo Bester and his lover Dr Nandipha Magudumana were arrested in Tanzania after fleeing from South Africa a few weeks ago.
